Microsoft Replacing Internet Explorer With A New Browser "SPARTAN" In Windows 10

Microsoft's latest operating  system Windows 10 is about to release for sale, and with that  Microsoft planning to make a big change in web browsing experience for its users. Microsoft going to replace Internet Explorer and will introduce a whole new light weight browser code named "SPARTAN".  As per the news it will take a place of internet explorer in upcoming windows operating system. 

The new browser will be lighter and faster in speed to provide whole new browsing experience to Microsoft users. The windows 10 will be shipped with a lightweight Spartan browser along with backward compatible Internet Explorer 11. The new browser will be available for phone, laptops,tablets and desktops. its still a secrete that will it have a support for Apple's IOS and Android devices.

The new "Spartan" broser will include extension support, separate desktop and mobile versions, and will utilizes Microsoft's Chakra Javascript engine and Trident page rendering engine to make browsing more efficient.  

According to ZDNet’s Mary Jo Foley reports that the new browser will look and feel more like the Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox browsers. With Mozilla and Google Chrome becoming more and more popular among the users, Internet Explorer is no where in the competition. That is why Microsoft was forced to make this change to compete with the popular browsers like Mozilla,Safari and Chrome.

Google's Android 5.0 Announced Code Named As "Android Lollipop"


Google have just announced it's upcoming version of Android Operating System called Android 5.0 officially code named as "Android Lollipop". After months of teasing the release, Google finally revealed the secrete behind earlier announcement called "Android L". Google has kept its tradition of keeping Android release names from sweets. Each new version of Android has been named after a sweet treat, in alphabetical order starting with Cupcake, and then on to Donut, Eclair, Froyo, Gingerbread, Honeycomb, Ice Cream Sandwich, Jelly Bean and KitKat.

First bunch of Android 5.0 Lollipop based devices are expected to come early next month. As per the information given on official android website, Android lollipop will make a debut on Motorola's upcoming Smartphone in nexus flagship called Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 a table made by HTC and the Nexus Player.The company also confirmed that Lollipop is coming to the Nexus 5, Nexus 7 and Nexus 10, as well as Google Play edition devices, in the coming weeks.

Google gave a gift to Motorola smartphone users by announcing Android 5.0 Lollipop updates for number of Motorola devices such as both generations of the Moto X and Moto G (including the LTE model), Moto E, Droid Maxx, Droid Mini and Droid Ultra. Though, it is not announced when this updates will be made available but atleast google confirmed its plans.

The company also going to release Android 5.0 SDK on Friday, October 17th for developers. So its clear that google has done it's best to make sure everything goes smooth and steady. so that all Google announce on its official release of Android 5.0 Lollipop. Youtube Soon To Provide Offline Acess To Indian Users

At the Android One launch event in India, Google announced a treat for Android users in India. It said that it will shortly allow Android users in the country to download YouTube videos and watch them offline whenever they want.



youtube mentioned that by using the offline feature users can see their favorite video again and again with out any data usage and it would also allow facility of storing the video on a device.

So the whole package involves download and saving any video without even spending any data package. Thus we can say that streaming youtube video will not be the only option to the android users of India. youtube providing this treat to the Indian android users as a part of an initiate to provide Google driven services at cheaper rates.

YouTube executive, Ceaser Sengupta stated that most of the youtube video will be made available offline for the users. According to him 40% of a overall traffic from India comes from Smartphones, Tablets and other Mobile Devices. 

However the date of release still not announced by Google. It would somewhere help google making YouTube service more attractive in the country.

 It will be interesting to see how Google navigates these challenges and we will no doubt know more in the next couple of weeks. However, as consumers, we have to say that this is good news even with the limited information available right now.

Microsoft going to announce low price windows 8 laptop at $199

As per the talks buzzing around the computer industry that a software giant company Microsoft planning to launch low prize windows 8 powered laptop for competing against Chrombooks. And it seems like that HP a giant hardware manufacturer will fulfill that benchmark of extra-cheap laptops for Microsoft. This laptops will be named as "HP Stream 14". Mobile Geeks has posted a leaked data sheet for the HP Stream 14, an upcoming $199 laptop that's clearly meant to fight Google-powered Chrombook PCs.

The laptop will be delivered with 14" display with resolution of 1366x768 pixels. And the system will be powered by AMD A4 microprocessor and 4 GB of RAM. The storage capacity is something that can disappoint many users. HP stream 14 will be delivered with 32GB of Flash storage. Although if you want extra performance you will have to pay more to get same system with AMD A10 micro cheap, 100 GB of data storage and 1080p touchscreen. Still  not satisfied with the limited storage option? HP would try to solve that shortage by giving buyers 100GB of OneDrive cloud storage for two years, matching what you get with many Chrome OS devices.

Popular Antivirus Vendor ESET Hacked

According to the latest news from the I.T industry that the popular Antivirus company ESET was targeted and hacked by the bunch of hackers. Antivirus software vendor ESET has sent out the email to its members that the website forum has beed hacked. User details of the 2,700 members of the forum have been compromised including usernames and hashed forum passwords.

The company recommended its members to change the password for their respective account for being protected. ESET has also launched a 'Full Scale' investigation against this hack. ESET announced that no financial and sensitive information has been compromised.


Its not new that Antivirus companies are one of the most popular target of hackers. A few days ago a popular Antivirus company Avast's forum was also hacked. The giant accepted that they compromised information of 40,000 forum members.
